ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
DERRY - LONDONDERRY

We have an exciting new opportunity to join a very successful, family run, Electrical contractors business on the outskirts of Derry City. Our client are approaching 40 years as a leading NICEIC Approved contractorand consistently deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland covering all sectors of the industry.
This sustained sector growth has developed the need for a dedicatedSenior Electrical Estimator to jointheir team. The role is primarily office based with site visits as required. As the successful candidate, you will play a crucial role, working alongside management. As well as heading up the estimating department and managing all aspects of the tender process, you will be tasked with growing the company’s client base. You will be afforded time to implement your own ideas/strategies and will be encouraged to make the role your own.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtaining quotes, quantifying materials, preparing, submitting, and winning tenders
Hand over secured contracts to the Contract Manager(s), detailing budgets, and all relevant margins
Liaise effectively with clients throughout the tender process and maintain good relationships.
Essential Criteria:
You will have a proven track record in a similar role within the construction industry
Suited to an adaptable, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to excel under pressure.
Ability to work as part of a team, compliment a positive working environment and present yourself in a manner in keeping with company rules and procedures.
Possess strong IT skills
