MPA Recruitment on behalf of our client a well-established manufacturing company based in Antrim require an experienced Credit Manager to join their team

As their Credit Manager you will be expected to develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers.  Working closely with several departments within the business, this position will be integral to providing up to date credit information to management to assist them in making well informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

As the Credit Manager your main duties will be to:

Manage the Credit Control function with the business, including the Credit Control teamReview all processes within the department in line with a continuous improvement agendaEnsure targets are achieved weeklyEnsure customer accounts are maintained in line with expectationsEnsure timely and effective collection of all debts and customer paymentsCheck customers credit ratings and apply insurance where appropriateDevelop strong professional relationships with customersMaintain contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for paymentResolve queries both internally and externally regarding outstanding invoicesReview details of disputed invoices and initiate internal queriesPosting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systemsProvide accounts information to other internal departmentsInitiate recover proceedings when necessary.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Credit Control A minimum of 2 years as a Credit Manager (B2B)Experience of high value accountsExperience of `Contract Type BusinessAbility to manage teamsGood level of computer literacy - Word, Excel, Access and the internetExcellent customer service skillsExcellent telephone manner.
