MPA are working in partnership with their public sector client in order to recruit for a Corporate Comms Advisor in the Lisburn Area.
Roles / responsibilities.
To prepare appropriate business cases, tenders and quotations, in line with financial and procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales.
To provide a high level of internal and external customer service including taking ownership of customer queries and complaints and following issues through to completion.
To ensure effective working relationships with employees across the HR Directorate and in particular the Organisational Development and Equality and Inclusion teams.
To represent the Corporate Communications Manager as required and provide support and cover for the Communications Advisors, to ensure resilience as far as practicable.
To comply with, and enforce, policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to legal requirements such as equality, health and safety and information governance.
To direct and signpost managers and officers to the appropriate source for issues outside the remit of this post.
To undertake project work as directed by the Corporate Communication Manager/Head of OD, using the principles of good project management.
Possess a degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Communication, Advertising and Marketing; Public Relations, Journalism or Media Studies.
Current Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing, or equivalent.
Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a corporate communications function.
Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
