MPA are currently recruiting a Band 3 Cook to work for our well-established client based in the Coleraine Area. An immediate start is required . The pay rate is £11.67 per hour. The successful candidate will be involved in providing efficient and effective catering services to residents, to provide meals, ordering and stock taking. Adhere to Environmental Health Regulations.

Role Responsibilities

· Cooking pre-prepared food for residents making sure the food is cooked to the right temperature and recording this

· Ordering and stock taking

· Adhere to environmental health regulations

· Developing healthy and balanced meals for residents with different needs e.g. different food textures

· Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.

· Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, cakes and drinks in accordance with the specified menus and to ensure high standards and quality

· Ensure that meals are provided is sufficient quantities, taking into account the diets to meet medical and personal needs and preferences.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in a similar role
• Cookery/ Catering Qualifications
• Food Hygiene Certificate

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
