MPA Recruitment has been appointed by the leading provider of mental health and wellbeing services to source a Clinical Psychologist to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The aim of the service is to achieve the best possible outcomes for adults with mental health problems and their families.
You will provide a specialist psychology service including specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes; contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment. You will work as an autonomous professional within Abu Dhabi Department of Health guidelines and codes of conduct and guided by the policies and procedures of the service, taking responsibility for your own work including treatment and discharge decisions with support of clinical supervisor.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Psychology, including supervised training placements; minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in a clinical setting; registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist in the UK or equivalent in home country, with evidence of continuing professional development.
