MPA Recruitment has been appointed by one of the leading hospital and healthcare groups in the MENA region to source a Charge Nurse, Labour and Delivery to join their senior management team. This is a world-class healthcare provider with a team of renowned experts across their integrated services.
As Charge Nurse in the Labour and Delivery room, you will coordinate, lead and supervise patient care delivery from prenatal, intrapartum and the postpartum period to patients on the labour and delivery ward, in a manner that reflects professional nursing practice.
Your duties will include coordinating with OB Gyne doctors to ensure safe delivery from labour watch until the patient will be moved to the postnatal area. Your duties will include assisting the delivery room Head Nurse in ensuring staff are well trained and competent to perform their duties as indicated; assist the Head Nurse with administrative tasks; supervise medication management and adherence to infection control guidelines, hospital policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have at least 7 years’ relevant experience; current national license and valid basic life support (BLS) certification.
