MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a highly successful Contracting Group to source a Business Development Manager in Energy Efficiency to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a new position in the business which is growing considerably across the GCC through significant project wins.
You will manage the development of energy efficiency projects from any stage to get them to a ‘ready to build’ stage. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities with government bodies and authorities providing energy efficiency studies and investment solutions. You will work with internal staff to prepare a competitive offer or competitive financing offer in the case of EPC. You will be involved throughout the process, evaluating opportunities and following through to project acquisition and conducting due diligence with advisors if necessary prior to finalising the deal.
You will have experience in energy efficiency projects with a proven and successful background in business development; a related certification would be desirable such as Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor or Certified Measurement and Verification Professional. You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of project risks and how to mitigate them; as well as organisational skills and an excellent attention to detail. Experience in financial models will be beneficial. You will need to be an Arabic speaker in this position.
