MPA Recruitment has been appointed by an innovative energy and tech start-up to source a Business Analyst to join their team in Belfast. This is a newly formed business under the umbrella of a highly successful group which has grown considerably in recent years.
This new business will specifically sell green energy produced exclusively from renewable resources to customers across Ireland using technology platforms to interact and provide control to the end-user. This is a key hire for the business as you will work closely with the Senior Management team to uncover detailed technical, business & market requirements.
You will become an expert in your own right by developing a deep understanding of the Irish energy market and identify opportunities for change to deliver high quality outcomes for customers. You will be responsible for building the best products and delivering the best solutions; playing a leading role in project and product teams through precise requirement engineering; and translating business needs into technical requirements enabling development teams to develop suitable solutions. You will be working closely with in-house and third-party developers throughout the project implementation processes and leading on projects to ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality.
You will take an innovative approach to your work, thinking differently and being creative when coming up with solutions. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within medium to large projects in a business change environment (multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams & incremental deliveries). It is desirable that you have Irish energy market or utility experience and an understanding of regulated markets. Ideally you will have an industry recognised qualification, however this is not essential.
You will have the opportunity to shape the success of this business from the outset and will receive a competitive salary reflective of your experience.
