Business Analyst - Belfast

MPA Recruitment has been appointed by a highly successful energy business to source a Business Analyst to join their team in Belfast. This is a pivotal role in this growing business responsible for developing, managing, and testing the core CRM/Billing system and assisting the IT team on projects.

You will be responsible for day to day testing, monitoring, and improving of core CRM/Billing systems; interpreting industry requirements for future technical development; and providing expertise to colleagues and management with a thorough practical understanding of the CRM/Billing system used in the day-to-day operations.

You will work closely with colleagues from finance, regulation, and IT to interpret their requirements and find dynamic solutions to improve the business functions; will analyse, organise, translate, and simplify data from the CRM Billing system; will plan, manage and implement changes to customer billing from time to time as directed by the senior management including tariff changes; and will communicate the effective strategic management of the IT systems to colleagues and senior management.

You should have 2-3 years proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar type role, with relevant operational experience within the Utilities sector. You will have experience in managing, developing, and maintaining CRM/Billing systems and a Degree (or equivalent) in a discipline with a high level of numerical or financial content e.g., Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business and Finance, Business and Economics etc. or relevant experience. You will have strong IT Skills and previous analytical experience, preferably in a financial or IT environment.
