Band 5/6 Social Worker

MPA Recruitment Bangor are currently recruiting for a Band 5/6 Social worker to work as part of the permanent placement team for our public sector client.

This is an immediate start once all checks are complete. We can offer the right candidate an ongoing booking with hours of work being Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

The primary aim of the social worker is to provide support to the individual and their families by assessing individual need, developing a person centered support plan for each service user.

Social workers must be knowledgeable about legislation, policies and community issues that affect their clients, with an awareness of development and Safeguarding procedures.

*Qualifications andExperience

  • Hold a recognised Professional qualification in social work,
  • Have NISCC registration or be eligible for registration or have lodged/ is willing to lodge an application with the NISCC.
  • Only those applicants who state clearly on their application form that they have the required level of qualification will be considered for interview.

*Current full driving licence.
