We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Auditor to join a new dynamic and growing team within the financial services sector. As a Senior Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality financial audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial auditing and a comprehensive understanding of financial services, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management.

About the role:

The Senior Auditor is in charge of planning, organising and ensuring the completion of all aspects of the audit engagement for review by the engagement Partner.

• Assist with planning of audit
• Attend Client audit planning meetings
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Plan, control and review the work of the audit team
• Deploy staff effectively
• Delegate to audit teams and mentor staff
• Complete Audit files; bring assignments to completion

About you:

• An ACA or ACCA qualification
• Excellent knowledge of auditing companies in the Financial Service Industry
• You must have business report writing experience
• Working knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
