Administrative Assistant

MPA are recruiting a number of Band 3, Administrative Assistants for a local health trust. Based in Ballymoney the successful candidates will be responsible for the day to day administration function of the Nursing and Midwifery Bank department supporting the activities associated with the bank office.

This will involve booking suitably qualified and experiences staff and working with the bank team to provide an effective and efficient temporary service to the wards/departments and bank staff, providing a high quality service and will liaise with the range of internal and external personnel. The post holder must be able to work on own initiative.

Essential criteria

5 GSCE’S (Grades A-C) or equivalent to include English

Or

NVQ Level 2 in Administration

Plus

1 years administrative experience in an office environment within the last 3 years.

Experience in the use of Windows based software to include Excel, Word and Outlook.

Plus

*2 years’ paid clerical experience in an office environment to include the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages

*This experience must include the following areas-

  • using the Microsoft Office suite of packages
  • electronic & manual diary management
  • organizing & servicing meetings
  • collation & presentation of data using MS Excel
  • data input
  • data extract

(Work based examples must be clearly outlined on the application form)

This is a full time position, Initially for 8-12 weeks. Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Weekly pay at £10.09 per hour.
