A great opportunity to work as an Accounts Assistant in a busy office as part of a small accounts team. The role involves assisting in all aspects of the accounts function for a number of local, privately owned convenience stores.


  • Processing sales and purchase order invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Weekly pay roll
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  • Cash control
  • General office administration duties as required


  • Must have a detailed working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts/Payroll
  • At least two years experience in a busy office
  • Five G.C.S.E's or equivalent (including English & Maths, minimum grade C)
  • Highly accurate with attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
