MPA Recruitment have been appointed by our client, who is a well established large organisation based throughout NI to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator.

 

Assist in all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner

Processing of weekly and monthly timesheets

Assist in the bookkeeping function including maintenance of a costing ledger and general ledger

Issuing and calculation of complex month end sales invoices

Processing of purchase order and supplier invoices

Maintenance of training records

Processing bank payments and receipts

Processing credit card expenditure

Processing of supplier payments

Other

Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment

Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices

Providing accounts information to internal departments

Liaise with managers and customers in respect to queries or difficulties in projects

Undertake any other ad-hoc projects which the company consider reasonable and within the competence of the Accounting Technician.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 GCSE’s at Grade’s A-C or equivalent

Minimum Grade C or above in GCSE Mathematics or equivalent

Experience in computerised accounting packages

Excellent knowledge of Excel

 

DESIREABLE REQUIREMENTS

Accounting Technician Qualification or equivalent

Experience with SAGE 200

 

EXPERIENCE

At least three years experience in a commercial environment.

Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships, at all levels

Ability to generate complex sales invoice and have excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines

Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations

Work with a minimum of supervision

Prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction

Possess a clean Driving Licence
