Junior Sequal Server Developer

Your role will be to support and maintain my client's existing products and also assist with new database design. You will also be involved in coding to support new and existing applications ensuring that all applications are built and maintained to a high standard, provide estimates and timescales for development, ensuring projects are driven by reliable and practical information, and proactively contribute to the creation of robust application development and support procedures with the creation, review and renewal of robust processes and standards for the development area.

You will need to have a good understanding of database and SQL programming, and ideally at least 12 months commercial database development experience, although my client will consider Graduates with a relevant degree and less commercial experience. You will also need to have an understanding of development lifecycles. Any knowledge of VB, DTS packages or stored procedures would be desirable, although not essential.

My client is offering a salary of £18,000-£23,000 pa depending on experience, along with career progression opportunities and benefits.
